2020 is just round the corner. About 2 decades ago, we couldn’t even imagine the use of present gadgets like mobiles. But the rate at which the field of tech is flourishing, we can safely predict what technology will be like in the future. Here, I’ve compiled a list of some of the most fast emerging tech in the world. 
  1. Hologram technology
Scientists predict that the coming years will be characterized by hologram technology. In layman’s language, the virtual world we see in iron man
movies will become a reality. VR (virtual reality) will plug in a whole fantasy world around us. People will experience 360 degrees immersion in the virtual realm. In some places, VR is charged e.g malls but that time is not far when every home will have its own virtual world.
  1. Robotics
With the new innovations in tech, it is likely that 50% of today’s jobs will be served by robots. Thanks to the diverse use of Nano bots, the tiny programmed computer chips, biologists are hopeful to be able to find treatment for incurable diseases like AIDS and cancer. In fact there are fully functional robots that are already created e.g Sophia.
Also, restaurants with robot waiters is a new and fast-growing trend.

  1. Teleportation
According to futurists, the present pace of tech is a herald of thriving automation. From the comforts of self-driving cars
to the primordial wish of teleportation, development of hyper loop will accede to all our demands.
We could practically become night crawler from X-men! Reaching inaccessible places will not be a plight anymore due to drones that will not only help in shipping but also mining.
  1. Free internet 
Speaking of AI, Microsoft cues the administration of free internet globally. It’s not hard to notice that tech has already grown by leaps and bounds. Starting from internet cafes, now we are at the stage where 5 G net is a common usage in every house hold. Recently, a Chinese company has aimed at providing free internet across the globe by means of 272 satellites. It is predicted that the whole constellation of satellites will be launches by 2026. So, let’s wait patiently for the years when we won’t have to pay for internet packages every month.
  1. Space tech
There is a strong possibility that man will finally have overcome the predicaments and uncertainties of the outer space like black holes in the future. Many physicists foresee the initiation of space tourism along with a wealth of space knowledge. So, it’s not long before families will be planning their vacations to Mars rather than Paris!
Surely, new advances in technology will be attained in the future leading to a trouble-free and serene life. Nevertheless, we should never let go the importance of our moral values no matter how much we excel in IT. Love, respect and humanity will always remain significant for human life despite the expeditious developments.

The Madman's Story

A few books and notes in hand and her bag slung across her shoulder, Nada was walking fast on the pavement. It was almost 8a.m, and she was late for school. She wished her teacher would be late too because otherwise she would have to spend the lecture outside the class as a punishment. Immersed in her thoughts, Nada suddenly heard a maniacal laughter from behind her. But she didn’t look back and continued walking swiftly past a pile of bricks outside a building as she already knew who that was: the madman who roamed the street every day.
