A Mosquito's Flight

Image
I came back from school and headed straight to the kitchen where I found my mum and said, “Good afternoon, Mum!” She smiled at me and said, “How was school today, Misty?” “It was great!” I replied, “Today we learnt about a special type of parasites- ectoparasites!” “Do you know any examples of this type?” she asked me, seeing my enthusiasm. “Us!” I replied promptly, “And that’s because we feed on our hosts!” “That’s good, Misty, you’re certainly getting smarter”, Mum praised me, “We, mosquitoes, are considered the most noble instances of the ectoparasites”, then she added grimly, “But it’s just that we’re a little notorious among human beings. Anyways, what would you like to have for lunch?” she asked. I instantly replied, “Let’s go hunting today! It’s been a while since I’ve tasted fresh human blood!” Mum agreed at once and then gearing up, we both went out in search of lunch. After flying a few yards, we came across a tiny cottage surrounded by a little fence. Fortunately, I spo...

Did you ever happen to have learnt a language? Now, I’m not talking about the languages like Urdu or English you picked up as a child. The alien accents. The strange-looking symbols. The fun...

The Future of Tech

2020 is just round the corner. About 2 decades ago, we couldn’t even imagine the use of present gadgets like mobiles. But the rate at which the field of tech is flourishing, we can safely predict what technology will be like in the future. Here, I’ve compiled a list of some of the most fast emerging tech in the world.  Hologram technology Scientists predict that the coming years will be characterized by hologram technology. In layman’s language, the virtual world we see in iron man movies will become a reality. VR (virtual reality) will plug in a whole fantasy world around us. People will experience 360 degrees immersion in the virtual realm. In some places, VR is charged e.g malls but that time is not far when every home will have its own virtual world. Robotics With the new innovations in tech, it is likely that 50% of today’s jobs will be served by robots. Thanks to the diverse use of Nano bots, the tiny programmed computer chips, biologists are hopeful to...
